Mr. Sandman, Bring me a Dream

Those of you who know us well know that we never get any sleep in our house. Between Dylan (now 8 months old and still up at least 2x a night) and Wesley waking up at 4:15-4:30 everyday, it really is a nightmare. So, in an attempt to save our sanity, we decided to try something different with Wesley. Since his bedroom is basically a playroom with a bed, we decided to put him in 'solitary confinement.' We moved EVERYTHING out of Dylan's room (which is just being used as a second playroom), borrowed a toddler bed, bought some Spiderman bedding off of craig's list to make it exciting, and made Wesley sleep there last night. The idea is that if he wakes up and has nothing to do, perhaps he will just go back to sleep... well, it sort of worked. Today, he did sleep until 5:30, so that was a little better. Can't say yet if it's related to the new arrangement or not, but we will keep our fingers crossed. He loved having his picture taken in the bed, as you can see, and also loved the box the bedding came in.
