We travelled home from vacation yesterday, Dylan's actual birthday, so we just picked up some cookies at the store to have a mini party :). I put some candles on them for him to blow out, and he thought it was great fun!
My brother, Brent's wife's (aka my best friend, Elaine) family has a lake house in Arley, AL, and they have been gracious enough to invite us down to stay each summer for the past few years. While we were there this year, we had Dylan's first, second birthday party (we had a smaller one at home, and will have another smaller one when Chris's family visits this weekend). Elaine made an adorable Rocket cake, and we had a great time! 
Here, Dylan is trying to show us that he is 2 by holding up one finger on each hand. It took great concentration :).
